Hearts & Paws was born from a long-time dream to make a difference — a dream I first explored years ago through my previous business, Building Memories, which also created seed cards for veterinary practices. Life happened, challenges came, and I had to put my heart-project aside to focus fully on my day job.​

 

With my only daughter moving to Cape Town (hello empty-nest syndrome!) I knew it was finally time to revive my passion. Hearts & Paws is the beginning of that journey.

 

Even though balancing a 6am–6pm job with my second shift at home is tough, I know every late night and every idea brought to life will be worth it.

Customer Services

Landi is not only my sister — she’s my best friend. Like me, she’s also a single mom, but with two kids. Some days I truly don’t know how she manages it all, but she does it with strength and grace.

With years of experience as a Customer Services Manager, her insight, professionalism, and natural care for people make her an incredible asset to Hearts & Paws.

 

I couldn’t imagine doing this without her.

Marketing

Zjardine is my only daughter — my pride and joy. She has a natural gift for all things digital, and like most of today’s youngsters, she knows far more about online marketing than us “oldies” ever will.

 

From social media to advertising to video editing, she brings creativity and a fresh modern touch to everything we do.

 

She will be assisting us with our marketing, advertising, and editing needs — and we are incredibly grateful for her talent and support.

Operations

Cayden, Landi’s son, is currently studying Business Management and, in between classes, he lends a helping hand at Hearts & Paws with cutting, assembling, and packing.

​

His energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed make a world of difference. He’s a phenomenal help and a true asset behind the scenes.
